Sleek Eyeshadows are Oh-So-Special!

Okay so you've heard me rave about the brand Sleek Makeup and I'm sorry, but here I go again! The same day that I bought the Solstice Highlighting Pallet, I picked up Sleek Makeup's i-Divine Eyeshadow Pallet in Oh So Special. The shades in this pallet range from light soft pinks to deep plums. I picked it up mainly because it is such a versatile day to night pallet. The pallet came from Target and was $14.95 (on sale - Reg Price - $19.95).

The packaging is pretty basic. It's relatively easy to keep clean and it's pretty sturdy. I've dropped the shadows on hard wood floors and they haven't shattered or chipped. I have one issue and thats it. The lighter matte shades are not opaque and hard to build up. They're okay for blending, but a light, full coverage matte look would be a long shot with this pallet. I will say that the darker matte shades are full of rich pigmentation and so there are some hits in the eyeshadow department.

There are a total of 12 eyeshadows in the i-Divine Pallets. There are 6 matte shades and 6 shimmers. Like I said above, the light matte colours aren't pigmented and tricky to find a purpose for. The dark mattes and all of the shimmers are where the lift is in this product. A little goes a long way, they are buildable and long wearing without a primer. All of the shadows have a soft buttery consistency, unlike the highlighting pallet. I think that makes them easy to pick up on softer brushes and sponge tip applicators. Another pro to the i-Divine Pallets is that they are Vegan and Cruelty Free (not paraben free).

Overall, my thoughts regarding these Shadows are that they are blendable due to the soft consistency and they can be taken from day to night in a matter of seconds.
